David is in New York, and Sebastien and Urs are kicking back in peace, so it seems the guys are once again recording their parts separately.
I was hoping that there would be a new album. There was an announcement last week that the album to be released next in November was “a best of album.” We can hope there will be new music soon after.
I await Il Divo’s recording of some Gershwin tunes which I do not believe they have done. Maybe something from the operatic “Porgy and Bess” like “Summertime.” Sometime from the Il Divo team should collaborate with Michael Feinstein in CA the great interpretor and collector of all things Gershwin. He sings, plays piano and records all while archiving The Great American Songbook and putting it to tape for posterity.
